Detailed Introduction

Biological asphalt refers to forestry resources, urban waste and animal excrement, etc. through the liquefaction and separation of asphalt materials, but also biomass raw materials processing production of bio-based materials (furfural, furfuryl alcohol, dimethyl furan, biodiesel, etc.) in the process of the remaining polymer carbohydrates. It has the characteristics of wide source, low cost, green and non-polluting as well as renewable. At this stage, domestic and foreign scholars have tried to prepare bio-asphalt from pine wood, willow wood, waste circuit boards, pig manure and rice husk.
Bio-asphalt is mainly used for processing and producing fuel, asphalt additives, casting binder, asphalt coatings, waterproof materials, etc.
