The production of heavy metallurgy includes the processes of geological exploration, mining, processing, smelting and processing. The continuous innovation of non-ferrous metallurgy technology is facing many challenges, and currently non-ferrous metallurgy is developing in the direction of green environment protection, marine resources utilization and metal substitution development; however, the contradiction between industrial development and environmental protection, the technical difficulty of marine resources utilization, and the high cost of metal substitution development and production are still not solved by effective methods. Considering many influencing factors, the research prospect of secondary resources recycling and reuse relative to the above research directions is relatively broad; if the research and development results of the preliminary laboratory are practically applied to the later production line, it will be another major breakthrough of non-ferrous metallurgy technology.
