Argentina's energy ministry raises biodiesel prices and lowers biodiesel export tariffs for October
Argentina's Ministry of Energy announced a 1.9% increase in biodiesel prices for October compared to September, along with a reduction in biodiesel export tariffs.
This means that refiners are paying higher prices for biodiesel. Refiners must blend 10% of biodiesel into their diesel fuel.
For large integrated biodiesel producers, the price for October increased to 12,347 pesos per ton, or about $707.41 per ton, from September. For large non-integrated biodiesel producers, the price was raised to 14,183 pesos per ton, and for small and medium-sized producers, the price was increased to 15,722 pesos and 15,919 pesos per ton, respectively.
